Tromso is located at 69 degrees North and is renowned as one of the best locations in the world to witness the Northen Lights. Tromso itself is a lovely city with a nice easy rhythm to it. Exploring the cafes, restaurants, shops and museums in summer or winter is equally enjoyable. Although the biggest draw to Tromso is invariably the Northern Lights experience it is also a wonderful spot for hiking in sping and summer.
