Borovets

Borovets ski resort in Bulgaria, is the liveliest resort in the country. As well as offering some superb skiing and snowboarding Borovets offers vibrant après ski nightlife.

The resort is split into two valleys with a Gondola taking you up one side and chair lifts taking you up the other. The major hotels are extremely close to the lifts, either a few hundred metres walk or ski in ski out, making it a particularly ski friendly resorts.

The Borovets ski school is one of the best in Bulgaria and therefore for beginners and intermediates this is an excellent choice. For advanced skiers and boarders then don’t worry, although it is a relatively small resort by European standards there are some testing blacks and lots of accessible off piste!

Another superb attraction to this premier Bulgarian resort is its superb value for money. Not only are lift passes, lessons are very cheap and it is also excellent value when you are in the resort!

Because of the good value, buzzing nightlife and quick transfer times Borovets is also particularly popular for a ski stag weekend. For flights there are low cost connections to Sofia from London and Manchester airports.
