A: We are Vamos Travel Ltd. ATOL 5927. We are the market leaders for stag parties, lad holidays and sport clubs tours in central & Eastern Europe and Iceland. Vamos Travel is the pioneering stags company for many emerging countries in New Europe and is one of the main suppliers to other UK companies. We have a dedicated (male) team specializing in lads do weekends abroad. We put ourselves in our customer’s shoes and provide the service you exactly want from a party or gentlemen’s holiday abroad.

Q: What do we do?
A: We send hundreds of stag do’s across Europe, Eastern & central Europe and Iceland. We specialize in booking 2 – 5 star accommodation for large groups in central locations. We arrange ATOL protected flights, transfers, tours & excursions, stag night activities, stag do daytime activities and many other stag weekend essentials.

Flights

Q: Are flights included in these packages?
A: No. But we can book & purchase flight tickets.We are a fully bonded ATOL member, which means that our customers can book flights through Vamos Travel with full financial security. Always check if a company is ATOL protected. (ATOL is Air Travel Organiser's Licence)

Q: Can we book our own flights and then book with your stag & sports tour company?
A: Yes. Then, if you book your own flights, we’ll sort all your ground handling: transfers, hotels, stag activities etc.



 

Transfers: buses, strip limos, Retro coaches, private cars

Q: Can you organise transfers to/from the Airport?
A: Yes. Our drivers will always meet you with a greeting card and drive you safely to your destination. Transfers can be arranged in various styles ranging from: mini buses, stretched limo’s, classical cars and even Soviet styled Retro buses, like the picture above.

Q: Are transfers an important aspect of a stag weekend or sports tour?
A: Yes and Yes. We can’t stress this enough. Trying to move around 10 – 40 (drunk) friends and communicating the accommodation address to each person is an organisers nightmare. Cut out the stress and unnecessary hassle. Have a driver waiting for you in arrival and on departure.

Q: Can we just book Transfers (without flights, hotels and activities)
A: Yes. But expect the prices to be higher. All our prices are extremely low when you book a complete package. The less you let us organise, the more expensive our services. We like to reward our valued clients who book more, with cheaper prices.

Accommodation

Q: Can we book extra nights?
A: Yes, no problem. Send you’re enquiry to us and we’ll price up the extra nights.

Q: Will the accommodation be of the requested standard & not some dodgy motel?
A: We take great pride in our strong relationships with our accommodation partners and in their facilities. We inspect & evaluate all the properties and only offer the best.

Q: Will the accommodation be in a centrally located area, close to the nightlife action?
A: Yes. This is one of our main priorities. We have only chosen accommodation closest to the cities nightlife. Not only that, but you will always be in a safe & tourist friendly area. If there aren’t any available centrally located accommodations, then we will state this in your offer. Usually these next alternative are only a 5-10 minute taxi drive away from the city and are often cheaper.

Q: What types of accommodation do you offer?
A: Vamos travel offers a huge range of accommodation options to suit every budget. But the key point we always stress to our clients, is that we wouldn't be a leading stag & sports tour company, if we didn't do exactly what we say on the tin! We inspect and often stay in the provided accommodation. We know for sure, it will be well received by your group. Just read the hundreds of testimonials throughout the site.

Q: Can we make accommodation upgrades?
A: Yes. Send your enquiry and we’ll send you a revised package quotation.

Q: Will where we stay be friendly and tolerable towards a large group of noisy guys?
A: We offer accommodation that is stag & lad friendly, open 24 hours, in safe areas. Our accommodation partners welcome Vamos Travel clients, due to our respected name  within the travel & leisure industry.

Stag Activities

Q: Can I book just sports or night time activities, without the full packages?
A: Yes. However, clients that book only activities, will not have the full 24hr REP support throughout their stay, which normally proves invaluable when you book our packages. Call and chat to the lads, we've been there and done that, and we'll make sure you have the same amazing experience.

Q: What stag activities do you provide in central and Eastern Europe for lad & stag do’s?
A: If you can’t see a particular activity you want to do, then ask us anyway, the chances are quite high we can arrange it. Our departments throughout our destinations are very responsive and creative.

 

Security

Q: What is ATOL Bonding?
A: ATOL is a protection scheme for flights and air holidays, managed by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). Most firms who sell air travel in the UK are required by law to hold a licence called an ATOL. ATOL protects you from losing money or being stranded abroad when a tour operator goes out of business. All licensed firms have to lodge bonds with the CAA so that if they go out of business, the CAA can give refunds to people who can’t travel and arrange for people abroad to finish their holidays and fly home. ATOL protection is included in the price of a holiday booked with an ATOL holder, and there’s a Government-backed fund called the Air Travel Trust that steps in if any ATOL bond isn’t enough to look after everyone affected by a failure.

Q: What sort of support will Vamos Travel offer me as a client?
A: We offer the up most attention to all our clients, no matter the size of the booking. We provide extensive help – emergency contacts abroad, UK personal 1-1 accountant manager – who provides additional local information and shares his stories and experiences, to give you full confidence that you’re stag weekend will be legendary. You’re not dealing with a call centre, you’re dealing with experienced professionals. Our stag department is a male team, so you can feel totally relaxed about asking all the relevant questions.

Insurance

Q: Should I take out insurance before travelling?
A: Yes. It is extremely important that you take out adequate insurance even for any type of holiday, stag weekend and foreign travel. We offer an excellent low-cost scheme.

Payment

Q: How can you pay?
A: We accept all major credit/debit cards. Cheques payable to ‘Vamos Travel ltd’ and on-line bank transfers to our Barclay’s account is also accepted. Download our booking form to read further information. Link to booking form

Q: Can I secure a holiday, sports tour or weekend break by paying a deposit
A: Yes. A deposit can secure your stag package. Then full balance must be paid 8 weeks in advance to your departure date.

Q: Can we pay individually?
A: We expect the group leader to gather in the money from the relevant stag party members and make payment for the deposit/full balance. We understand the difficulties of this procedure, so your individual account manager will correspond with the accounts department, to make sure you have enough time & flexibility to get the money in on time.

Q: Will I have to pay for amendments to the itinerary?
A: We don’t charge an administration fee, but you will have to pay for the additional services.

Q: Are there any hidden costs, extra taxes when booking a stag package?
A: No. We are up front about all prices & costs – you will not be stung for any hidden charges.

Travel Arrangements

Q: When can I expect to receive my tickets, hotel vouchers, stag holiday information?
A: We would normally expect to receive your tickets 7-14 days before departure. Your tickets are then forwarded to you without delay. On average, most of our stag clients receive their informational packs 3 – 4 weeks before their departure. If you have any queries or questions, just contact your personal account manager.

Q: What if I have a problem abroad?
A: For clients that book our full packages, you’ll have full on the ground support. We will provide you with an emergency contact name/number, who will be able to help during difficult situations. This is not available to groups that only book activities or just transfers.

Others

Q: Do you offer discounts?
A: Yes. Repeat clients, group leaders and various promotions throughout the year. Save £££. We advise you too call your personal 1-1 travel account manager.

Q: Can you arrange stag weekends to other cities within your markets, that are not mentioned in your destination pages?
A: Yes we can. We have superior knowledge of our countries and have amazing partners all over Eastern Europe and Iceland.

Q: Do you have a brochure?
