Day 1:
Arrival in Warsaw Transfer to hotel Free afternoon to make

Day 2:
Today you will enjoy an official Warsaw City Tour. The programme
begins at St.Anne’s Church, which contains one of the largest and
loveliest organs in Europe. The tour then carries on into the Old
Town and Warsaw’s ‘New Old Town’! You are then driven through the
city, past the parks, statues and embassies before visiting Chopin’s
Statue and Park and the beautiful Wilanow Palace. Our guides are
hand picked for their companionability, passion and knowledge of all
aspects of the tour. The city tour lasts four hours and includes all
entrance fees. It will give you a great insight into Warsaw’s past,
present and future!

Day 3:
Free day for personal explorations and sightseeing. Vamos Travel
will advise on museums and other places of interest.

Day 4:
Take train to Krakow – 1st class tickets will be delivered to the
hotel reception Optional – transfers to and from the train station
if required (£40.00 per transfer per car) Check in Krakow.

Day 5:
Today you will have an official Krakow City Tour. On the tour you
will visit Wawel Hill and Castle, as well as the Royal Residencies.
You also get chance to walk through the Jewish Quarter (where
Schindler’s List was filmed) and visit the Jagiellonian University,
which is one of the oldest universities in Poland. The tour
concludes by visiting the Market Square, which includes the unique
St.Mary’s Basilica. It is also a good opportunity to wait outside
the church and listen to the bugle which is sounded every hour. The
guides are extremely experienced and professional and will help you
learn a lot about Krakow’s troubled history and fascinating present.

Day 6:
Today you will have an official Auschwitz Tour. The tour takes
around 6 hours in total. An English-speaking guide will accompany
your coach and then you will receive local guides when you reach
Auschwitz. The tour starts with a 20-minute film documentary before
you start to see the atrocities for your own eyes. It is a horrific
place that will certainly leave you feeling drained and hollow, so
please try and mentally prepare yourself before visiting. The tours
are superbly organised and the guides are excellent. It is a place
that maybe everyone should visit once in their lives.

Day 7:
Today you will enjoy a wonderful tour to the wonderful Wieliczka
Salt Mines. It takes approximately one hour to reach Wieliczka and
the tour takes around 2.5 hours. The local guides take you around
the mines and explain the features and history. It is a fantastic
tour, which takes you through parts of this enormous underground
network (over 80km). You will have chance to see the amazing salt
sculptures as well as the beautiful underground lakes. There is a
large degree of walking so as long as you are capable to climb
stairs and walk through tunnels you will be ok (wheel chairs and
guides for disabled visitors can be provided) . In regards to
interest, content and fun it is suitable for all ages. The coach
will return you to the hotels listed. All in all it takes around 5
hours and is a highly recommended experience!

Day 8:
Today you will be collected by a private driver and transferred
to the airport. Departure flight home.
