Full Itinerary:

Day 1: ARRIVAL IN SOFIA

Arrival at airport Sofia. Transfer to town of Kazanlak located in the Valley of Roses. Accommodation at hotel “Palas”/”Zornitsa” 3 star – Kazanlak. Overnight.

Day 2: VISIT THRACIAN TOMBS IN KAZANLAK

Visit the Thracian tombs in Kazanlak region: Kazanlak tomb, the Big Kosmatka tomb and the Thracian Gold Treasures in the town’s museum. Continue with a visit to the Museum of Roses, the Ethnographic complex “Kulata” for tasting of rose jam and liqueur and Tommy Show Cosmetics. Overnight Kazanluk.

Day 3: HISSAR & PLOVDIV

Breakfast. Departure to Hissar – a summer residence of the Roman kings (a short sightseeing) and Starosel Thracian Cult Temple – 5th century B.C. - visit. Continue to Plovdiv. Accommodation at hotel “Bulgaria” 3 stars. Overnight Plovdiv.

Day 4: PLOVDIV

Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of Old Plovdiv including visit to the Ethnographic museum and the Roman Theater. Free afternoon. Overnight Plovdiv.

Day 5: PERPERIKON DAY TRIP

Breakfast. One-day excursion to Perperikon- the sacred town of the Thracians. Back to Plovdiv.

Day 6: SOFIA CITY TOUR

Breakfast. Breakfast. Departure to Sofia. Sightseeing tour of Sofia including visit to the National Museum of History. Free time. Accommodation at hotel “Hemus” 3 star.
