After personally working in New Europe for many years the directors of Vamos Travel decided it was about time to show off what these amazing countries have to offer.

Similarly to Michael Palin we set off on extensive trips through New Europe; primarily in search of suitable partners that we could co-operate with to supply our customers with exciting & inspiring holiday programmes.

Today we are proud to advise that we organise holidays to 20 countries across New Europe, including: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, Czech Rep, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria and Romania.

Ski breaks & Snowboarding weekends

Winter holidays in Bulgaria and Slovenia are great fun. We can arrange short ski breaks or longer ski holidays for individuals, families and groups.

Our most popular short ski breaks are Krvavec in Slovenia & Borovets in Bulgaria. Krvavec ski holidays are award winning due to a number of factors. 1. The flight time from the UK is only 1.5 hrs 2. The transfer from Ljubljana (Slovenias capital) airport to krvavec ski resort is only 45 mins 3. The skiing is excellent and available from December until early April 4. Cheap ski holidays in Slovenia offer quality as well as good value.

In regards to accommodation you can stay on the slopes (ski in / out hotel) or if you would prefer to soak up the nightlife of Slovenias capital city Ljubljana, then we can arrange accommodation and transfers for you.

Our team in Krvavec is fantastic, we can arrange everything you need: ski and snow board equipment hire, lift passes, lessons & help with transfers to and from the slopes. The other resort which is extremely popular for ski breaks and ski holidays is Borovets in Bulgaria. Borovets is a purpose built ski resort with ski in / out accommodation. Iceland holidays

Iceland Holidays are simply a must for those who enjoy nature. Iceland is a geographers dream. Our Golden Circle tour is a great way to begin your Iceland holiday experience and almost every hour you will be travelling through vastly contrasting terrain. Ski stag weekends

Ski stag weekends are a great weekend to celebrate your last nights of freedom. Partying hard in the evenings and brushing away the cobwebs by hitting the slopes in the daytime; what better way to do it?

We offer two ski stag weekend destinations that are ideal. The first ski stag resort is Krvavec, in Slovenia. With flight times from the UK of only 1.5hrs you can be on the slopes on the same day. Our stag parties are based in Ljubljana, Slovenia's capital and can therefore enjoy the restaurants, bars and clubs. Each day our team will collect you and take you to and from Kravec ski resort for an awesome days skiing or snow boarding.

Worried about missing a days skiing due to your ski stag party hangovers??? Do not fear! Many of our resorts have night time skiing - just ask one of our expert stag skiing weekend consultants. Not sure everyone wants to do a ski or snowboard stag weekend? Well, you can tell them about the amazing scenic views, snow mobiling opportunities, paragliding, bobsleighing...even husky dog rides!!! Stag weekends skiing together is an awesome idea. Snow ball fights, sending the groom down in a superman outfit, team races, apres stag ski parties - can any other winter weekend beat that???
