“There is a Polish proverb that states -
Eat, drink and loosen your
belt”
The Boathouse restaurant faces the Vistula River, making it one of
the most appealing places to dine for those on romantic breaks. The
dishes are superb, with a strong presence of Italian & Mediterranean
cuisine. The boathouse changes the main menu four times a year
depending on the season of the year and every month a new special
Menu is prepared. Even though it is a 10 minute drive from City
Centre, sitting in the summer garden, surrounded with greenery,
enjoying amazing Mediterranean food, you will understand why
Boathouse is known as Warsaw's greatest escape. Many of our Warsaw
short breaks clients have dined here on holiday and raved about the
location and service, so we continue to promote the Boathouse as a
leading restaurant.
Chianti is a Tuscany style restaurant situated in the centre,
overflowing with the aroma of herbs and olives. It’s a relaxed and
friendly place for enthusiasts of Italian food and lifestyle. For a
less traditional Italian atmosphere, try Jajo where excellent food
is served up in a contemporary decorated restaurant. It’s a great
place to stop for lunch or enjoy a romantic evening meal and it
won’t fold the bank account. Vera Italia is an intimate and
authentic Italian restaurant, the service is very attentive and the
owners have a real passion for there food. Bacio or Kiss in English
is also a cosy place, perfect for a Warsaw romantic break candle lit
meal. The portions are very large and the quality of food
preparation is impeccable. Both of these restaurants are small but
have large reputations, so we advice our guests to book early to
avoid disappointment.
If you’re looking to add some extra spice to your short weekend
away, then try some of Warsaw’s excellent Indian restaurants. India
Curry is a good place to start, the interior is interesting and
detailed as is the menu, the food is consistently good and we’ve
always enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere. Unlike the Uk, this curry
house doesn’t encourage the Warsaw stag do’s. So if you want to eat
at the India Curry, ring the management first. A very popular Indian
restaurant and winner of many food awards is Tandoor Palace. A lot
of food critics and locals claim it offers the finest Indian
cuisine, we advise you to try and find out for yourselves (we doubt
you’ll be disappointed!). It’s a very accommodating restaurant, but
large all male groups should make suitable reservations. The
restaurant is also known for its regular comedy evenings, stand ups
and great entertainers, which will be a bonus to your Warsaw breaks.
Other Indian restaurants to mention are the Maharaja Indian and Taj
Mahal, both serve tasty Indian dishes inside a charming, yet
down-to-earth space.
Tortilla Factory attracts both expats and locals with its tasty
Mexican food, huge cocktails and chicken wings. The menu includes
the usual burritos & nachos and serves them in large quality
portions, while beer is served by the pitcher. It’s got a fun
atmosphere, great for a hen or stag night and is definitely one of
the leading T-Mex restaurants. This restaurant is particularly busy
on the weekends, so come early or book in advance so you won’t be
disappointed. Another highly recommended Mexican restaurant is Blue
Cactus, which has always delivered a pleasurable evening, of good
food in a relaxed atmosphere. The decor is bright and vibrant
without being distracting and the menu has a wide selection of
choices from standard Tex Mex to more elegant fare. El Popo offers
authentic Mexican food in an upbeat environment, where guests order
rounds of Tequila and waitresses carry sizzling dishes of fajita and
garlic prawns. We’ve seen a number of men, celebrating their last
night of freedom here, so we guess it’s popular amongst the Poland
stag do’s crowd. The Mexican cuisine is fragrant, colourful, full of
finesse and hot Latin music is played in the background, adding to
the fun ambience of the place.

another well established vegetarian restaurant. It’s a trendy place
that attracts a cross section of people, who all come to enjoy the
fantastic food and varied menu. Guru Restaurant is one of the best
vegetarian restaurant in Warsaw. The prices are reasonable, the
décor is different and the staff are very friendly. Other
established vegetarian restaurants are Masala, Vega and Zielony
Świat. Although, not a dedicated vegetarian restaurant Samira
Restaurant has a very good veggie selection. Contact the Poland

The Polish capital has a great reputation for its Turkish
restaurants and we’d have to agree. We invite you to try Lokanta, to
experience traditional Turkish food, prepared by very skillful cooks
using only the finest & freshest ingredients. For Poland stag
weekend party animals that want a snack in the middle of the night,
you’ll take comfort in knowing that there are many Turkish kiosks,
famous for there amazing Kebabs and fresh sandwiches.
If you’re searching for a top class table at a modern restaurant,
then try 99, one of the best chic dining places. The menu is an
excellent fusion of food, the service is slick and the interior was
designed by a San Francisco Architect. Wall Street Journal Europe
stated it as ‘One of the top 10 hippest restaurants in Europe.’ 99
is definitely worth considering for a luxury stay in Poland.
Creating a stir on the culinary scene is Sense, fast becoming one of
the best recognised places to book a table in the capital. It also
has a popular bar called Ice, a dedicated Vodka bar serving 115
different types of Vodka. There is 2-for-1 drinks Monday - Saturday
between 5.30-7.00pm and between 11.30-12pm on Thurs, Fri, Sat.
Artibus is the place to see and to be seen. It’s a chic space,
consisting of three consecutive areas which flow into each other
creating a warm and comfortable venue. The use of theatrical effects
such as lighting, luxurious curtains and elevated platforms and
custom made furniture’s also contribute to the sense of a private
club image. Situated very close to the National Opera and Ballet
theatre, makes this the perfect place to dine before a night at the
theatre. Book opera and ballet tickets through Vamos Travel. Include
a night at the theatre as part of your Warsaw breaks, Cracow breaks
and Poland holidays.
Polish cities often surprise sightseeing tourists with its
diversity of ethnic and oriental cuisines, many Japanese, Turkish,
Lebanese, Jewish, mongolian restaurants have nestled their aromas
and specialsities in Warsaw’s dining landscape. Even if your not a
master with the chop sticks, we strongly advise our clients to try
one of the many great oriental restaurants. Akashia is an ideal
place for those who love delicious oriental cuisine. If it is your
wish to take delight in great Korean or Japanese food you won’t be
dissatisfied, just the sight of these dishes will captivate you. The
exceptional atmosphere is based on the unique décor, which creates
an oriental image and sets the scene. Not the place for a lad’s
night out, but perfect for discerning clients. Inaba is one of the
best sushi restaurants and even has a private karoke room for boozy
office get togethers, partys and Warsaw stag dos. Further down the
street is Nippon-kan, famous for having the longest sushi bar in
Europe. Other favourites are So-An, Sakana and further out of town
Ohh Sushi! All of these restaurants have impressed us with expertly
prepared food. Your citybreak won’t go far wrong by booking a table
at these fine restaurants.
As you would expect there are numerous amounts of restaurants
serving up traditional Polish cuisine, but only a few stand out the
crowd, with exceptional quality and attention to detail. From many
client recommendations and from our own extensive research, we have
short listed some of the restaurants you should try. Delicja Polska
is a lovely restaurant serving high quality food with discrete
precision. The interior is bright, full of flowers and has many
intricate decorations, giving their guests a sense of dining in a
regal manor house of a Polish Lord. Bazyliszek located in a 17th
century merchant house, has a décor that consists of old suits of
armour, crossed swords and high ceiling sof carved wood. The
atmosphere is consistently good making it a long standing choice
amongst Warsaw locals and Poland short break tourists. The food
emphais is traditional Polish, specialising in game & seafood
dishes. Found in the Deputies Hotel, in a distinguished building of
the Polish Parliament is Hawelka. One of the few places offering
dishes of Old Polish cuisine at exceptional levels. The food is
always served with style and elegance and those that experience it,
always come back. We advise to all our clients to book a table in
advance, as this is one of the most sort-out restaurants.
If you are looking for an upscale restaurant with great
traditional and Eastern European food in the Old Town in particular,
then Fukier is an excellent choice. It’s an elegant restaurant with

clients that don’t mind spending a little more to experience an
incredible dining atmosphere. Reservations are essential, so if you
