Fun things to do in Prague during your stay

Our tourist city walks will take you on a fabulous city adventure, allowing you to see & experience all the principal tourist attractions, monuments and hidden gems. With our friendly and very knowledgeable English speaking guides, you’ll discover the real essence of this great Czech capital. Some of the highlights of this walking tour will be: the Charles Bridge, the Astronomical Clock, Prague Castle, Wenceslas square and so much more. ***Like all our holiday excursions, we can tailor make any kind of tour for any individual or group. Call or write to us and we’ll be happy to organise it for you. “Discover what the guidebook can’t show you”

Take a Boat cruise on the Vltava River and see amazing panoramic views of the capital, which you can’t possibly see anywhere else. The river is aligned with historical monuments and the boat will pass through the former Jewish Quarter and the Old Town square. You’ll be able to gain the most exquisite views of the biggest tourist landmarks, whilst conserving your energy and enjoying the luxuries of travelling by boat.

Prague Autumn entered its 16th edition in 2006 and has become a permanent part of Prague, but also European musical life. A large range of stars from all over the world have appeared at Prague-Autumn during its history: Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra with Yuri Simonov, Russian State Symphony Orchestra with Valeri Polyansky, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Budapest Festival Orchestra with Iván Fischer, Mariinsky Theater Orchestra St. Petersburg with Valeri Gergiev. Prague Autumn programme is concentrated on the most beautiful music instrument - the human voice as well. More than 120 singers appeared in front of Prague audience. Every year, there are usually 10 foreign ensembles, 5 domestic orchestras and 3 choirs that perform on average 21 concerts during the festival. Runs mid September till early October.

Shooting Programs: Take advantage of doing something completely different and try many of the high adrenaline activities on offer. What about trying ‘hardcore shooting’? Try an afternoon at a shooting range, firing off Dirty Harry Magnums, automatic weapons, Kalashnikov’s and pump action shot guns. Clay pigeon shooting can be organised and outdoor paintballing is another crazy adventure weekend activity to try your hands at. These aren’t activities just for Prague stag weekends, they’re definitely suitable to anyone, who wants to experience something completely different on their short break in Czech Republic. Recommended group sizes, should be at least over 6 people, to make it cost effective, otherwise it can be quite expensive.

Don’t miss the Prague Spring Festival. It starts Mid May and lasts into June. The Spring International Festival is the country's biggest classical musical event and is now into its 62nd year. The concerts are also the perfect opportunity to see inside the city's most beautiful theatres. Book concert tickets with the East European holiday specialists. We can base any city break package around specific performances.

For thrill seekers, stag do’s in Prague and sports tours, there’s no better team activity than White water rafting. We can organise the whole day out. From guides and transfers to water sports and lunch. The rafting season is from 1st May till 31st October. A great way to get rid of those last nights of freedom style hangovers.

Kampa Island, nick named the ‘Venice of Prague’ is a popular tourist attraction. It’s a large island on the Vlatava River, which is mainly parkland but has some historical buildings, chic restaurants and bars to enjoy. It’s a cool place to laze in the summer and your sure to be impressed by the tranquil atmosphere in contrast to the busy shopping streets. See somewhere different on your short break, come to Kampa Island.

One can try Jeep off roading, ATVs/Quad biking and indoor go-karts. For speed freaks, you’ll love these sport activities, guaranteed to get the heart racing. We recommend these driving activities for parties of over 8 people to make it costs effective. Driving activity breaks are very popular amongst the stag do’s that come to Prague, but are as equally popular with corporate clients and sport tours.

On a rainy or lazy day, take a Tram tour. Try tram 22, a very cheap way of seeing the city. You’ll see the old wine district, New Town, Mala Strana and it winds its way up to the castle. Another fun excursion, is to find the Old Town's quirkiest street. Michalska street has everything from weird and wonderful to colourful and strange. Make it part of your fabulous holiday.

A Brewery tour is a fantastic idea. One can enjoy a guided tour of either Staropramen or the New Town breweries. Both tours last around 40 minutes and include a free beer tasting session at the end. Afterwards, we can arrange a meal with complementary beers. The brewery tour is always fun for a birthday do, praguepissup and lads weekends abroad. If you don’t fancy a tour, what about bowling, laser quest or even bobsleighing? These are all possibilities on Prague city breaks.

Letna Park is the place for summer. Come here and chillout or enjoy the many beers gardens. Stagweekends will enjoy the great views and cheap beer – typical men!

The most popular spectator sport in Czech Republic is football and a trip to watch a local match is an exhilarating experience. The cost of a ticket is minimal compared to the UK and tickets are normally easily obtainable. Football tickets make perfect birthday gifts, great for lads holidays, Prague pissups, brilliant weekends in Prague and corporate days out. Prague is home to three 1st division football clubs: Sparta, Slavia and Zizkov, so there should always be a match on during the footie season.

Come to Prague for a stag do or hen party. It’s still the most popular city in Europe for party dos. Why? All night clubs, cheap beer, sports activities, beauty & spa centres and so much more, are some of the reasons for the abundance of UK parties coming to the Czech Republic.

The Charles Bridge is always full during the day. Come back at night when there is less people and enjoy the lights that illuminate the river. Another top tip for our winter breaks clients, is take some black and white pictures of the Charles Bridge on a snowy morning. The results will be spectacular.
