Valetta has the advantage of having a year round climate and so
the cafe, bar and club culture is always pulsating. The most
happening area is at Paceville in St.Julians in the heart of
Valetta. Here you can find something for everyone: exclusive
cocktail bars, relaxed cafes, salsa clubs, sports bars, vibrant
clubs covering a whole host of musical scenes from Hip-Hop through
to Rock!
The two most famous venues on Paceville are Havanna and Axis.
Havanna is a funky club that always has a buzzing vibe. It largely
plays hip-hop and r'n'b and offers 2 floors and a capacity of upto
3000. You are always on for a full on night here! Axis is right in
the heart of St.Julians and plays trance and house till the break of
dawn. If you've got the stamina join the locals to see the sun come
up the next day!
Because the weather is so good there are also a couple of superb
open-air night clubs. Gianpuca is located in the middle of fields
close to the old towns of Mdina and Rabat. Here you will find DJ's
from all over Europe whipping the crowd into a frenzy! The other
superb open air night club in Malta is called Numero Uno, again it
has a strong following and attracts big crowds and big name DJ's.
Malta definitely has something for everyone. Whether it be a late
night bar on a romantic holiday, a salsa club or a mega club for the
truly dedicated clubbers Malta will not let you down. Malta is also
a great choice for Stag and Hen Parties. For stags parties in Malta
