The Depo is known for the alternative music it plays throughout the week and we recommend you check its listings before attending. It’s a large venue with three halls and always has a colourful clientele, that enjoy the spectrum of underground music and low priced drinks. The Djs and bands perform everything from; Rock, jazz to techno and drum n bass. It’s a big place, so we’d recommend this to large sports tours, especially stagweekends, that don’t want to stand out. At the other end of the spectrum, where the music is commercial pop, is the Roxy club in the heart of the Old Town. It’s a popular place amongst city breaks revelers & Latvian students, as discounted flyers are offered on the streets and the atmosphere is less pretentious than over nightclubs.
