About Krvavec: Krvavec was recently voted No.1 city
break ski/snow boarding resort in Europe. You can reach
Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana in 1 hour 30 minutes flying direct
with either Adria Airways or Easy Jet. From Ljubljana airport
you can reach Kravec in 15 minutes and take a 7 minute gondola
ride to the top of the mountain. |

Resort Details: As well as being voted best city break ski and snow board
resort in Europe it has also been honoured with the award of
best-organised ski centre in Slovenia. It offers more than 25
kilometres of excellent pisted conditions, covering an area of
110 ha. Ski buses transfer you to the lower cable car from both
Ljubljana and Kranj where you can take the Gondola cable car to
an altitude of 1450 to 1971 metres above sea level. There are
six chair lifts and 6 T-bars. |

Option 1 Kranj: To be as close to Krvavec as possible then you
should stay in the town of Kranj only a 15-30 minute taxi ride away. Kranj is a lovely Alpine town with enough to keep you busy in
the evenings as well as offering superb accessibility to the
slopes. |

Ljubljana: If you would prefer to combine your weekends
skiing with some culture, sightseeing and nightlife then you
should stay in Slovenia’s capital: Ljubljana. It is a beautiful
city with an abundance of sites, excellent restaurants and great
nightlife. Transfer time from Ljubljana to Krvavec is 20-40 minutes
– you can utilise local bus transfers, taxis or book private
transfers with Vamos Travel. |

Krvavec: You can also stay on the slopes at a very nice 3
star hotel. This is great for those who want to maximise their
