Day 1 |

Welcome evening, entertainment & games
On arrival our team will meet you at the airport with a
greeting sign & a big smile. Then we transfer from the airport
to Tolmin region, to enjoy a welcome drink and have an introductory
meeting. After a fulfilling dinner, we relax with new
friends & can participate in the evening arranged games. A
pleasant introduction to your active family holiday with us.

Day 2 |

|
White Water Rafting
Surrounded by majestic green hills, working together you’ll
learn to master the art of white water rafting along
2-4 rated stretches of the emerald green Soca River. As
always we will stop for water games, swimming and general
fun time. Experiencing the crystal clear waters of the Soca
river will have a lasting imprint on your life not just your
holiday.

Day 3 |

Hiking Day
Today we transfer you to the Polog Valley, where you will
have chance to explore some WW1 bunkers before the hike
begins. The walking is moderate and designed to show off
Slovenias wonderful nature. You will walk through pristine
forrests, over many springs to the source pf the Tolminka
River and enjoy a nice break on a high alp meadow.

Your Free
Day
Today is a Free day so you can simply relax by the hotel
swimming pool. Enjoy exploring the near by countryside or if
you feel like a day excursion we can arrange a trip to Lake

Day 5 |
|

Kayak
Day
Our instructors will set the pace to suit the group. For
novices once you have been taught the basics you will begin
to feel the freedom that Kayaking gives you. In the morning
we focus on technique and tuition and in the afternoon we
put your new skills to the test kayaking down some grade 1
and 2 stretches of the river.

'Most
introductions to kayaking start & end on calm waters - where
clients get to grip with the basics of movement and safety.
Well with our itinerary, we start the day earlier and end
later, allowing a full morning of tuition & fun. This means
by the afternoon, we can take our guests to the river
rapids, putting their new skills to the test. It's an
extremely enjoyable day & most of all - you feel proud of
your achievements! This activity can't be missed & one of my
personal favourites!'

Day 6 |
|
|
|
Cycling Day
Our cycling day is designed to take you on a wonderful day
trip through Slovenia idyllic countryside. We start off
towards the valley of Idrijca, riding alongside the river
and amongst pretty meadows and pastures. Our final
destination is 12 km away, the picturesque village of Slapob
Idrijci. Here you will be able to rest and even enjoy a
swim, there is even a diving board on the beach. In the
afternoon we will make our way back.

Free day:
Today you are free to relax or make your own personal
explorations. Also if there are any specific activities that
you fancy then please discuss it with your guide (some
optional activities include: paragliding, quad biking,
caving and our high rope adventure park).

8 |
|
|
|
Canyoning
Canyoning in Slovenia is a major highlight. The natural
slides and chutes are great fun and quite incredible to see
and explore. Your experienced and friendly guides will take
you on an exciting adventure concluding with your final
challenge, a controlled descent down a 27m waterfall.

9 |

|
|
Free
Day
Again you are free to either relax by the hotel
swimming pool. Make your own explorations of the near by
attractions or enjoy an optional day trip or activity.

10 |

|
Mini Raft
Today is your last full day and what a way to finish.
Mini-rafting is great fun giving you chance to negotiate the
emerald Soca river rapids for yourselves; of course all
under the watchful eye of your guide! As well as paddling we
will arrange swimming, water games and a fabulous barbeque
BBQ.

11 |

Departure day (too soon)
After a late breakfast, there will be some time for
shopping, brisk walks about town, and then we must make our
sad farewells and take you home for your airport departure.
This is always the hardest activity, as it is hard to say
good bye to the new friends we have made during your family
activity holiday. However, at Vamos Travel we say 'until the
next time! We never say goodbye!' We look forward to your
next Slovenia active break.

Minimum age is 10 years old to participate in all the
mentioned activities. However, if you have children younger
than this age, then to talk to our team, who can tailor make
the programme to satisfy the whole family. This is a usual
dilemma that can be resolved very quickly.
When possible, our activity team co-ordinates family groups
by gender & age. This way families have a lot more in
common, children can play together and teenagers can
hangout!
