mountain bike tour over and around picturesque plateaus and
valleys. This short break doesn’t feel short at all, thanks
to view that changes with every mile achieved. Don’t forget
to bring cycling costume/trousers, swimming trunks and a big

Our primary destination for active holidays is the gorgeous
but largely unexplored country of Slovenia. This European
wonderland offers superb accessibility with flights taking
only 1hr 30min from the UK as well as a plethora of
natural delights on tap on your arrival.

Day 1 |

Arrival Day
On arrival our team will meet you at the airport with a
greeting sign & a big smile.
Then we transfer from the airport
to Tolmin, to enjoy a welcome drink and have an introductory
meeting.
The evening is yours to
relax, eat well, meet the locals and make new friends.
Tolmin has plenty of choice to entertain yourselves.

Day 2 |
|
|
|
|
Mountain Biking
We will take a short transfer to Sentviska plateau, where
biking starts. We will explore beautiful villages in
unspoilt surroundings with an overview of the Julian Alps.
You'll ride steep descents, rewarding ascents all within the
capabilities of those quite new to narrow road riding or for
those just wanting a great weekend. We will return to Tolmin
in the late afternoon, pleasantly tired.

Day 3 |

|
Mountain Biking
Starting from the base town, we will head with our bikes
towards the town of Kobarid next to the emerald alpine Soca
River, always ready to jump in, too cool down. Our goal for
days adventure break is the Nadiza valley. This is a
beautiful, small & well hidden jewel,. just next to the
Italian border. Refreshing swimming is well recommended.

Day 4 |
|
|
|
Departure day
After a late breakfast, there will be some time for
shopping, brisk walks about town, and then we must make our
sad farewells and take you home for your airport departure.
This is always the hardest activity, as it is hard to say
good bye to the new friends we have made during your activity holiday. However, at Vamos Travel we say 'until the
next time! We never say goodbye!' We look forward to your
next Slovenia activity break.

rooms. The food is locally sourced, and will be another
added highlight to the activity holiday experience.
As a cheaper alternative, we also offer private apartments,
which don't come with half board supplements. The apartments
are well located in the town centre, and have all the right
furnishings for a comfortable stay.
Tolmin is a
scenic delight,
but also has the conveniences you need for the perfect break
away. It is possible to find shops, bars, restaurants, cash
