Why do you think activity holidays are worth trying?

Slovenia is the perfect host for active holidays. It's great to be a part of nature, enjoying the land & waters, having so much fun with like minded people. Many of our families keep in contact, not only with our staff but with other adventure families they meet. Kids are never bored, adults have big child like smiles and we all enjoy the amazing Slovenian weather.

What are your favourite adventure activities to enjoy in Tolmin? And Why?

Mini Rafting with teenagers and children is fun. I like to see their independence as they negotiate river rapids and swirling currents. Canyoning too is just brilliant fun, for all ages. Big splashes and lots of laughter, its just so exciting!

What are your typical job roles? Any favourite parts?

I'm the jack of all trades. I guide groups on adventure days and run the outdoor offices. My favourite aspect of the job, is seeing families bond together. Mums & Dads proud of their children kayaking down a river and children beaming with self pride. I love my job.

Best memory during your time working in adventure holidays in Slovenia?

Every year brings new great memories. I just have to visit my photo album or look at our facebook page, www.facebook.com/greenworldholidays and all the happy times spring to mind :)

Wonderful, exciting, gorgeous-nature

Slovenia is the only country to have the ‘Love’ in its name, but why do you love Slovenia?

The greatest debate of them all. What is the best Slovenian beer. Lasko or Union?

.....but there is very nice wine also here in Slovenia. I think this is a man's silly debate.


What do you like about Slovenian food? Any favourite dishes?

Oh the food is good. I miss the Slovenian food when i'm away.
