Why do you think activity
holidays are worth trying?
Well, I
think everything good in life is worth trying!! Because this
are the best holidays ever :D you have to try it!! I am sick
of spending two weeks at the sea side. Well it is nice for
the first couple of days, but then you just get field up
with everything. This is something different. You do lots of
stuff that you haven’t done before, perhaps some of you
never thought you could. Every day you do something
different, you never get bored and it passes by just like
that!! When it is over, you think to yourself: I have to do
this again!! It really is an amazing feeling to survive! :D
What are your favourite
adventure activities to enjoy in Tolmin? And Why?
I like
everything, so it is really hard for me to choose… But if I
have to I would say kayaking, canyoning, climbing,… When I
first got into a kayak, at the age of 14, it felt amazing!
This was also my first contact with wild water sports, so it
has a special place in my heart. Canny is most interesting
thing to do: you climb, dive, jump, swim, walk,… Climbing is
actually something that we do not do at Maya (so far
J),
but I really like it.
What are your typical job
roles? Any favourite parts?
Mostly I
do canny, kayak, high ropes, family rafting,… I really like
to work with kids, we always have lots of fun, so I think
this is my favourite ˝part˝. It is not the section of river
or trip it self, it is the people who make it special.
Best memory during your time
working in adventure holidays in Slovenia?
There are really a lot of memories, now to pick only
one…ok…I think it was 2 years back, when I was a leader of
the English group, which was spending their holidays here. I
thought them one song, and we sang it actually on every
activity. And at the end when they went back home they sang
it once again just to say goodbye.

Slovenia is the only country
to have the ‘Love’ in its name, but why do you love
Slovenia?
hehehe… Is that even worth asking? I was born here!!

Ok,
seriously… On my opinion Slovenia is one of the few places
in the world where the nature is so beautiful and
diversified as in Slovenia. Also the
culture varies from region to region a lot.
The greatest debate of them all. What
is the best Slovenian beer. Lasko or Union?
The
greatest?? Well not on my opinion. Why? Believe it or not

I do not drink any of those…

Not because
I do not like it.. I just don’t drink any alcohol. Yes, many
had tried and many have failed!

What do you
like about Slovenian food? Any favourite dishes?
I like
desserts! One of the most famous is ˝Kobariški štruklji˝
this is a dessert named after the town where I come from
that is Kobarid, which is located just 15min of driving from
Tolmin.
Any other remarks?
Don’t live life as it is, try to do it your way and feel
Slovenia ;)
