The tours starts
with a visit to Heiðmörk Nature Park with bushy vegetation, lava
fields and caves. Next stop is at the Íshestar Riding Centre in
Hafnarfjörður, to enjoy a horse show featured by the Íshestar
riders. Passangers have the opportunity to try the friendly
Icelandic horse on a short ride (30 min).
After lunch-break it is time for the mystic and unknown – a
visit to the home of the “hidden people” in the village of
Hafnarfjörður and learn about the elves and trolls. Hear why
even today roads are planned around these places, rather then
destroying them. The stay in Hafnarfjörður village ends at the
Viking Restaurant with coffee and a taste of traditional
Icelandic snacks. |
