Arrival Overnight stay in Reykjavik

Day 2:
Þingvellir - Snæfellsnes
Depart Reykjavík to Thingvellir National Park, an historic and
beautiful site, and head through Kaldidalur mountain pass to
Hraunfossar waterfall and Deildartunguhver, the most powerful hot
spring in the world. Overnight in Snæfellsnes area.
Day 3:
Snæfellsnes peninsula
Enjoy the magnificent columnar basalt rock formations at Arnarstapi,
before circling around the legendary Snæfellsjökull glacier and
passing through Stykkishólmur village before visiting the Eric the
Red museum. Head aross Laxárdalsheiði to the North, through awe-isnpring
scenery. Overnight in Varmahlíð area.

Day 4:
Skagafjörður - Akureyri - Tjörnes
Visit the turf-roofed farmhouse at Glaumbær, before heading to
Akureyri, the vibrant capital of north Iceland, and on to Goðafoss
waterfall and the stunning Tjörnes peninsula. Overnight at Kópasker.
Day 5:
Ásbyrgi - Dettifoss - Mývatn
Explore the horseshoe-shaped canyon of Ásbyrgi, and continue to
Dettifoss, the most powerful waterfall in Europe, in the majestic
Jökulsárgljúfur canyon. Continue to the Mývatn area - a paradise for
nature enthusiasts - surrounded by lava fields, volcanoes and
mountains: the real Iceland of fire and ice! Overnight in Mývatn
area.

Day 6:
Lake Mývatn - Sprengisandur
Discover hidden parts of the Icelandic interior, exploring the
wilderness of Sprengisandur and the largest continuous lava field in
Iceland, Ódáðahraun. Overnight at Hrauneyjar.
Day 7:
Landmannalaugar - Skaftafell National Park
First stop at Landmannalaugar, a magnificent area surrounded by
colourful rhyolite mountains with the option of bathing in a
naturally warm geothermal pool. From Landmannalaugar, follow the
Fjallabaksleið interior track to the breathtaking Skaftafell
National Park. Overnight in Kirkjubæjarklaustur area.

Day 8:
Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon - Skaftafell National Park
See the birthplace of icebergs at Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon,
and take the optional boat tour among the icebergs. Spend the
afternoon hiking through Skaftafell National Park, an area of
outstanding natural beauty, dominated by Vatnajökull, Europe's
largest ice cap. Overnight in Kirkjubæjarklaustur area.

Day 9:
Vík - Dyrhólaey
Head out over the vast Eldhraun lava fields and Mýrdalssandur
sands, and stop to enjoy the great views from Dyrhólaey headland. On
the way to the Hella area, admire two beautiful waterfalls,
Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss. Overnight in Hella area.
Day 10:
Geyser - Gullfoss - Blue Lagoon - Reykjavík
Drive to the thermal area of the great Geyser and Strokkur
spouting hot springs, then on to Gullfoss, known as the ‘golden
waterfall' and along the south coast of the lunar Reykjanes
peninsula. The adventure culminates at the Blue Lagoon for a
rejuvenating bathe in the warm, mineral-rich waters.
