A: We are Vamos Travel Ltd. ATOL 5927, originally founded by Brett
Smith. We are the market leaders for holidays in central & Eastern
Europe and Iceland. Vamos Travel is the pioneering company for many
emerging countries in New Europe & Iceland to introduce vastly
unexplored cities and lands to an increasingly imaginative and
inquisitive public consciousness.

A: We send hundreds of discerning travellers, groups and
corporations across Europe, Eastern & central Europe and Iceland. We
arrange ATOL protected flights, transfers, tours & excursions,
concert tickets, sport activities, and much more. We aim to beat our
client’s expectations of the holiday experience.

Vamos Travel is led by two actively involved Managing Directors
whose business experience and
wisdom span decades as well as continents. Everybody involved in the
business is highly motivated and committed to their jobs, because
they enjoy what they do for a living.
Like our valued customers, we too, love to travel and experience
different world cultures and we take great satisfaction from making
our clients happy, by organising holidays they will never forget.
We will only offer clear, direct and honest advice. We are totally

Q: Is Vamos Travel ATOL protected?
A: Yes. Our ATOL number is 5927
Q: What is ATOL Bonding?
A: ATOL is a protection scheme for flights and air holidays, managed
by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Most firms who sell air
travel in the UK are required by law to hold a licence called an
ATOL. ATOL protects you from losing money or being stranded abroad
when a tour operator goes out of business. All licensed firms have
to lodge bonds with the CAA so that if they go out of business, the
CAA can give refunds to people who can’t travel and arrange for
people abroad to finish their holidays and fly home. ATOL protection
is included in the price of a holiday booked with an ATOL holder,
and there’s a Government-backed fund called the Air Travel Trust
that steps in if any ATOL bond isn’t enough to look after everyone
affected by a failure.

Q: Are transfers an important aspect of a holiday?
A: Yes and Yes. We can’t stress enough how crucial transportation is
during any holiday. It offers our clients great piece of mind
knowing there is going to be a friendly face waiting for them to
whisk them efficiently to their hotel. It’s one less stress to think
about and gets the holiday off to an appropriate relaxing start.
Q: Will the hotel be of the requested standard?
A: We take great pride in our strong relationships with our hotel
partners and in their facilities. We inspect & evaluate all the
hotels and only offer the best. Our prices are low because of our
strong booking power and it certainly doesn’t reflect the quality
which we offer.
Q: What types of accommodation do you offer?
A: Vamos travel offers a huge range of accommodation options to suit
every budget. We have everything from luxury five star hotels to
excellent back packer hostels.
Q: Will the hotel be in a safe & well located area?
A: Yes. This is one of our main priorities, the hotel will always be
in a safe & tourist friendly area.
Q: How do you choose your hotels?
A: Accommodation is chosen for its excellent location, charm,
natural attractions and quality of service.

have inspected or stayed in.
Q: Should I take out insurance before travelling?
A: Yes. It is extremely important that you take out adequate
insurance for any type of holiday and travelling purposes. We offer

Booking Process &
Q: Can you explain ‘simply’ the booking procedure?
A: Yes. It’s very straight forward. When you are satisfied with your
holiday itinerary/package offer, we will re-confirm the
availability. Once this is confirmed, we will send a booking form &
attach our terms and conditions – these can be sent either by post,
fax and most commonly by e-mail. We will require a deposit per
person to secure the booking. The remaining balance must be
completed 8 weeks before departure. If you book within the 8 weeks
prior to departure date, then the full balance must be paid.
Q: Can I secure a holiday by paying a deposit
A: Yes. Read previous question.
Q: How can I pay?
A: We accept all major credit/debit cards. Cheques payable to
‘Vamos Travel ltd’ and on-line bank transfers to our Barclay’s
account is also accepted. Download our booking

Q: Can we pay individually?
A: For large group bookings and corporate bookings, we expect the
group organiser to gather in the money from the relevant party
members and make payment for the deposit/full balance. We understand
the difficulties of this procedure, so your individual account
manager will correspond with the accounts department, to make sure
you have enough time & flexibility to get the money in on time. For
smaller groups we can accept individual payments.
Q: Will I have to pay for amendments to the itinerary?
A: We don’t charge an administration fee, but you will have to pay
for the additional services you book and any additional costs that

Q: When can I expect to receive my tickets, hotel vouchers,
A: We would normally expect to receive your tickets 7-14 days before
departure. Your tickets are then forwarded to you without delay. On
average, most of our clients receive their informational packs 3 – 4
weeks before their departure. If you have any queries or questions,

Q: What if I have a problem abroad?
A: We will provide you with an emergency contact name/number, who
will be able to help during difficult situations. This is not
available for activity, transfer, flight ONLY bookings.
Q: Can you arrange holidays & weekend breaks to other cities
within your markets that are not mentioned in your destination
A: Yes we can. We have superior knowledge of our countries and have
amazing partners all over Eastern & central Europe and Iceland.
