Music, Lights, Lasers, Action!
Designed to stimulate, rouse and invigorate, the Sapphire Pool
is AquaCity’s newest and most dynamic area attraction. Filled
with our crystal clear, geothermally heated mineral waters the
Sapphire Pool has waves, water jets, air jest, ‘bubble benches
and water massage seats all designed to infuse you with vital
and glowing energy. Like raindrop ripples the concentric
circular pools convey a sense of wholeness and harmony. Each
pool is designed to deliver a different stimulation and
sensation refreshing and revitalising the body, mind and spirit.

Night Time – Party Time
Every night is party night at the Sapphire Pool. After dark
the whole of the pool area comes alive with the circulating
Chromotherapy lights, great music and our unique 3D, holographic
laser show. Don’t miss out on experiencing the fabulous
atmosphere and witnessing a truly magical show.
Wave Goodbye To The Blues
In the central circular pool is our big yellow ‘sunshine’ ball
which houses our “Factious Surf” wave generator. From around the
edge are eight water fountains and from below is a “Blast Tube”.
All of this combines to give you a constantly moving water flow
to really get you blood pumping.
Relax and Have Your Cares Massaged Away

In the outer pools you can choose the level of massage that’s
just right for you. From gentle bubbles all around you to
powerful jets which will un-knot tired and tense muscles. You
could, of course, progress around all the pools for a real ‘full
body workout’.
Brighten Up Your Life With
Chromotherapy

the stresses and strains of 21st Century living. Now we have

about Chromotherapy?)

Lights,
Lasers, Action
As wonderful and fun filled as the Sapphire pools are
during the day, it’s when the sun goes down that their true
beauty and wonder is really to be appreciated. The whole pool
area has been equipped with a holographic, 3D laser light show
and a 360o ‘surround sound’ sensory audio system. Together this
sound and vision system delivers an entertainment experience
that would put Las Vegas or Hollywood to shame.
Experience The Future Today
The AquaCity laser light show shows off the whole range of
possibilities offered by the most up to date, sate of the art,
video laser projectors.
Individual fingers of light reach out into the darkness to paint
a sensory feast of waves and spears of colour. Realistic,
animated images swimming in the very air itself create a further
futuristic mystical vision and add to the spine tingling eerie
yet ethereal effects. Then, like a heavenly apparition, a ten
foot tall holographic figure dances silently in the air
supported by and
composed entirely of light. It’s like seeing 3D
television, brought straight from the future, and projected
‘live’ above the Sapphire pool itself.
This fantastic experience, shown every night at 9pm, is
available to ‘Day Visitors’ and Hotel Guests and is the
culmination of our daily “Blue Sapphire Beach Party”. It’s a
show that has not only to be seen, but has to be experienced, to
be believed.

very latest in holistic remedies, chromotherapy.
Origins
Colour therapy is rooted in Ayurveda, an ancient form of
medicine practiced in India for thousands of years. Ayurveda is
based on the idea that every individual contains the five basic
elements of the universe: earth, water, air, fire, and ether
(space). These elements are present in specific proportions
unique to an individual's personality and constitution. When
these elements are thrown out of balance through unhealthy
living habits or outside forces, illness results. Ayurvedic
medicine uses the energies inherent in the colours of the
spectrum to restore this balance. Colour therapy was also used
in ancient Egypt and China. In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM),
each organ is associated with a colour. In qigong, healing
sounds are also associated with a colour, which in turn
corresponds to a specific organ and emotion.
Benefits
Each of the seven colours of the spectrum are associated with
specific healing properties.
Violet
Violet promotes enlightenment, revelation, and spiritual
awakening. Holistic healthcare providers use violet to soothe
organs, relax muscles, and calm the nervous system.
Indigo
Indigo is also sedative and calming. It is said to promote
intuition. Indigo may be useful in controlling bleeding and
abscesses.
Blue
Blue promotes communication and knowledge. It eliminates toxins,
and is used to treat liver disorders and jaundice.
Green
Because it is located in the middle of the colour spectrum,
green is associated with balance. Green is calming, and is used
by Ayurvedic practitioners to promote healing of ulcers. It is
said to have antiseptic, germicide, and antibacterial properties
and is sometimes used by holistic colour therapists to treat
bacterial infections.
Yellow
Yellow is a sensory stimulant associated with wisdom and
clarity. Yellow is thought to have decongestant and
antibacterial properties, and is useful in stimulating both the
digestive system and the lymphatic system.
Orange
Orange promotes pleasure, enthusiasm, and sexual stimulation.
Ayurvedic practitioners believe it has antibacterial properties
and may be useful in easing digestive system discomforts (e.g.,
flatulence, cramps).
Red
Red promotes energy, empowerment, and stimulation. Physically,
it is thought to improve circulation and stimulate red blood
cell production.
The colour spectrum is composed of
different frequencies and wavelengths of light energy. Ayurvedic
medicine uses the energy of colours to promote harmony and
healing. The colours are said to be imbued with certain healing
properties (i.e., red is energizing, blue is calming) and the
vibrations generated by each colour balance the individual.
Holistic healthcare providers who practice colour therapy often
relate the seven colours of the colour spectrum to specific
areas of the body known as the chakras. In yoga, the chakras are
specific spiritual energy centres of the body. The therapeutic
action of colours is related to the chakra they represent:
-
first (root; or base of spine): red
-
second (sacral; or pelvis/groin
area): orange
-
third (solar plexus) chakra: yellow
-
fourth (heart) chakra: green
-
fifth (throat) chakra: blue
-
sixth (brow) chakra: indigo
-
seventh (crown) chakra: violet
Therapeutic colour can be administered in a number of ways,
but is often combined with hydrotherapy to heighten the
therapeutic effect.
Precautions: While
colour therapy may be an effective treatment for promoting
relaxation and overall well-being, and as an adjunct, or
complementary therapy in treating some disorders and illnesses,
individuals with serious chronic or acute health problems should
not rely solely on the therapy for treatment. Anyone with a
chronic or acute health concern should seek the advice of a
qualified medical practitioner.
